Composers Institute

As one of the nation’s foremost classical music artist retreats, the Lake George Music Festival upholds a mission to advance music, re-imagine the concert experience, and build audiences for the 21st century through artistic integrity and innovation. The Composer’s Institute at Lake George Music Festival is an intensive program for young composers age 18+. Students work closely with program director Alyssa Weinberg and quartet-in-residence The Rhythm Method throughout the week.

The atmosphere that was cultivated there was awesome! Also having the opportunity to work with the Rhythm Method was priceless. The masterclasses and and the private lesson were extremely helpful to me and offered a new perspective that I found really useful!
